Nicole Ward | February 20, 2013

MasterCard is gearing up for Mobile World Congress 2013 and we have two words for you: mobile payments.   Cashless technology in the palm of your hand means greater efficiency without sacrificing security.  See what we’re bringing to Barcelona, and hear from tech blogger Helena Stone on why widespread adoption of mobile wallets depends largely on whether women like them!  If you love mobile payments, this brew’s for you.

Too much technology for casual purchases and groceries. I would be way in debt if I did not have the actual cash in hand. When it is gone, it is gone and no charges are being used to the following months income.

I already go close to cashless.. Just use my credit card everywhere I can and PAY IN FULL so I pay NO interest. So it’s *cheaper* (due to cash back) and MORE CONVENIENT than cash.

I already am close to cashless. Pay on credit card, and pay in full every month automatically.

I have been cashless since the housing crash! Obamanomics means everyone goes cashless (or penniless).

Pretty soon your credit cards will turn into RFID chips. Be careful what you wish for.

I love electronic payments. If it weren’t for machines that required change I wouldn’t ever use cash. It’s just so much easier to manage a budget when all of my transactions are available in an account summary, and best of all no more loose change to misplace (it may seem inconsequential but all of those lost nickels, dimes, and pennies really do add up).
