MasterCard employees fanned out across the world to give back to the communities in which they live and work. Thursday, October 10 was Global Community Day. Hundreds of employees who work in the Law and Franchise Integrity department took their skills and expertise to nonprofits around the world.
Just over 100 volunteers worked with organizations in New York communities near where MasterCard is headquartered. The New York contingent teamed up with the Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship and Habitat for Humanity. Globally, MasterCard volunteered with: World Food Programme, Habitat of Greater Miami, Salvation Army Midland Division, Willing Hearts Soup Kitchen, Police Citizens Youth Club, and so many more.
MasterCard’s LFI department plans to take part in Global Community Day annually.
