Hi! This is very exciting information and progress toward more financial inclusion for the extreme poor throughout East Africa! I work for an organization called Village Enterprise working in Western Kenya and throughout Uganda implementing a microenterprise development program. We offer business and financial education training to households living in extreme poverty in remote areas and help them establish Business Savings Groups in order to help them support their established microenterprises. We would be very excited to learn more about the lab and opportunities to get involved and collaborate on projects running through the Lab.
Please let me know what channels to go through in order to get involved and connected to the lab!
Thanks Ellen for your interest in connecting with the MasterCard Lab for Financial Inclusion team. Please send an email to Birgit: Birgit_deibele@mastercard.com and she will respond to your query. Thank you!
