São Paulo, October 28, 2013 — MasterCard introduces “São Paulo Não Tem Preço” (“Priceless São Paulo”), which is part of the global Priceless Cities platform, launched in 2011. Priceless Cities is present in over 31 million establishments worldwide, in places such as Beijing, Bogota, London, New York, Toronto, and Rio de Janeiro.
Divided into six categories (food, fashion, culture, music, art, and sports), “São Paulo Não Tem Preço” provides MasterCard’s cardholders with 800 exclusive offers, special access and unique experiences, all curated by MasterCard, which has selected the best restaurants, tours, stores and attractions in the state’s capital for its cardholders.
In order to structure the program, targeting the city’s residents and visitors, MasterCard conducted a survey that mapped the most frequented and traditional places in São Paulo.
“We discovered that each resident and visitor experiences their own priceless São Paulo, i.e., they enjoy the city in a different and particular way. With this in mind, we selected the trendiest and most traditional places in the city, so that everyone could enjoy these spots in the way it delights them the most, according to their personal taste,” said Beatriz Galloni, Vice President of Marketing for MasterCard Brazil and the Southern Cone.

Among them, we highlight the initiative featuring renowned chef Morena Leite, through which she will shop at the Mercado Municipal (Municipal Market) and prepare dinner at a cardholder’s home; access to the VIP lounge at Guarulhos International Airport; intimate concerts of major artists at Baretto; and priority status to make reservations of the best seats at Terraço Itália restaurant, with a full view of the city of São Paulo; among others.
In addition to the benefits, MasterCard will also promote various priceless actions, including a cultural contest that will give a gift to anyone who loves São Paulo: a T-shirt signed by the world famous designer, Alexandre Herchcovitch. To participate, cardholders only have to access MasterCard Brazil’s Fanpage on Facebook and describe their priceless São Paulo. The top 1,000 posts will receive a T-shirt at home showing their love for the city.
“Those who live in São Paulo are very proud of their city. This is a gift from MasterCard to the residents of São Paulo ‘by birth and by heart,’ who know how to see all that is good here, despite all the rush,” said Ms. Galloni.
Other actions are: support to the Big Heart Parade, which will include a charity auction, bike stations in the city’s major parks, among others.
