You Know What Would Be Priceless…

Imagine setting up camp at the Bronx Zoo for an overnight adventure, catching a Yankee game with a Yankee legend, or dining at Harlem’s famed Red Rooster restaurant with a table side visit from owner and chef Marcus Samuelson. These one-of-a-kind experiences and many more will be made available to MasterCard cardholders through the Priceless Cities initiative which launches this week in New York City.

Priceless Cities offers cardholders the opportunity to enjoy the things they are most passionate about, whether its travel, sports, shopping, culinary or arts and entertainment. The difference is it offers them the chance to experience their favorite places in a way they have  never done before. Cardholders can enjoy unique experiences, exclusive offers and privileged access to make MasterCard top of wallet, and bring a little priceless to city life.

To kick things off, we hosted a media preview event and cocktail reception at Yankee Stadium where select media got a sneak peek of the experiences on offer. We were joined by Yankees legend Bernie Williams and renowned chef Aaron Sanchez who served some of his delicious cuisine in the MasterCard Batter’s Eye Café.  Check out this great article by Stuart Elliott of the New York Times that talks about the program and our plan to roll out Priceless Cities around the world.

Today we will take over Military Island in Times Square with a fun interactive event.  People will have the opportunity to see some of the experiences on offer including the opportunity to meet Bernie Williams, take batting practice with a former New York Yankee pitcher; enjoy tacos from Aaron Sanchez’s travelling tacqueria Tacombi; enjoy performances from Jazz at Lincoln Center and interact with an exhibit from The New York Botanical Garden. Phew, it’s quite a line-up!

So, what are your favorite New York places, and which Priceless Experience entices you the most?
