Paris, 26th October 2017 – Mastercard announces the appointment of Solveig Honoré Hatton as Managing Director of Mastercard France from 1st November.
Based in Paris, Solveig Honoré Hatton will be responsible for the deployment of Mastercard strategy and growth in France. Bringing her knowledge of the French market she will work on a partnership basis with private and public entities and will focus on driving innovation and accelerating digitalization of all means of payment in the market. She will work under the direction of Carlo Enrico, Western EuropePresident.
She succeeds to Bart Willaert who has been managing the French market since October 1st 2015 and who will go for a European role based in London.

Solveig Honoré Hatton has held the position of Head of Business Development at Mastercard France since January 2016 and was previously leading the Mastercard Advisors France department since October 2012. Before joining the Mastercard teams, she has earned her spurs in the consulting for bank and financial institutions at Bluerock Consulting in London and at Eurogroup Consulting in Paris.
