MasterCard presents the future of electronic payments at the 4th Latin America and Caribbean Payment Innovation Forum, to happen on December 1-3. Titled “Connecting Innovative Solutions”, MasterCard showcases its latest developments in terms of digital payment services and solutions, and brings together professionals from the financial industry and major industry players, along with the company executives, to dive into the relevance of innovative technologies to consumers, tools and initiatives in financial inclusion and digital convergence.
“This Forum, now in its fourth year, shows how we are committed to create a society that is more connected and inclusive based on technological tools and services to promote financial inclusion and the best shopping experience by offering more simple, practical and safe options to people”, said Gilberto Caldart, President of Latin America and Caribbean (Lac) Business at MasterCard. “All that is made possible when all stakeholders collaborate and innovate together. – Hackathon #code4inclusion: In addition to presentations by executives from companies like Google, Microsoft, Uber, Citibank, JetBlue and McKinsey & Company, during the Forum, MasterCard also hold a hackathon directed at fostering the development of solutions that can boost financial inclusion in Latin America and the Caribbean. It’s 24 hours of round-the-clock hackathon development with participants from countries like Brazil, Mexico and the United States.
– Following the Innovation Forum, the grand finale of Masters of Code with Brazilian competitors: traveling westbound from Miami to San Francisco, Cal., the grand finale of Masters of Code, a global hackathon sponsored by MasterCard, promises to disrupt Silicon Valley between December 5 and 6.
