“People in Lagos enjoy dining out, and this initiative reinforces that the city has so much great talent in the industry. We share a common goal with Mastercard to provide great experiences to people, while promoting the countless hidden jewels the city has to offer,” said Tannaz Bahnam, Founder of Lost in Lagos.

To further add to the excitement this year, Lost in Lagos is introducing the Mastercard Restaurant Week – Best Performing Restaurant Award which will go to the restaurant with the most visitors during the three weeks coupled with positive reviews. Awards will also be given to the best three waiters who distinguish themselves as providing exemplary customer service.

“Tourism is important to the growth of Lagos, and Nigeria as a whole. Local people, and those visiting our dynamic city often don’t see Lagos as a dining destination and we wanted to change this perception by creating the Mastercard Restaurant Week.  It gives people the chance to experience something new, while taking in all the delicious tastes offered by the talented chefs at the various restaurants,” said Omokehinde Adebanjo, Vice President and Area Business Head of West Africa at Mastercard.
