The study forecasts which international cities are poised to see the most growth of visitors and cross-border spend in the coming year. The 2013 index shows that destination cities in emerging markets in the Middle East and Asia are expanding the fastest. 132 cities were ranked. London took top honors last year and was close to doing it again; it’s only about 25,000 visitors between the top two spots.
