Deutsche Telekom recently launched MyWallet, a mobile payment app for smartphones in Germany. Subscribers who download the Deutsche Telekom MyWallet app will be able to use the digital wallet service across the network of 35,000 MasterCard PayPass/contactless payment acceptance locations in Germany alone. Across the globe, users are able to make contactless payments with PayPass-enabled credit cards at more than 1.6 million locations. With MyWallet, they can now further enjoy using the hassle-free contactless technology at places such as Starbucks, Aral, Thalia, Douglas and Vapiano. In the future, Deutsche Telekom plans to expand the payment app so that users can also store tickets, coupons, access and customer cards with MyWallet.
