Helena Chen promoted to Senior Vice President, General Manager, Hong Kong & Macau

Mastercard today announced the promotion of Helena Chen to the role of Senior Vice President, General Manager, Hong Kong & Macau, effective March 1, 2025.

In her expanded role, Helena will continue to oversee business development and day-to-day operations across Hong Kong and Macau with a focus on growing Mastercard’s market presence and exploring new opportunities in the digital economy. With Hong Kong's status as a global financial center and both markets' strong tourism sectors, Helena's leadership is crucial to Mastercard's continued success in Greater China and the Asia region.

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Helena specializes in transaction banking, consumer, and commercial payment. She champions opportunities and community for women in finance and local women entrepreneurs, while leading educational initiatives to prepare local students for careers in finance.
