Yunsok Chang
Executive Vice President, Market Development, Asia Pacific

Yunsok Chang leads Mastercard’s Market Development organization, responsible for managing merchants & commerce and government entities, and forging partnerships with digital & emerging players across the Asia Pacific region.

A Mastercard veteran, Yunsok joined the company in 2003 as the Country Manager for Korea and has since held various senior roles in Advisors and Global Products & Solutions, Global Cross-Border Execution, and Core Products Strategy and Operations. Before his current position, Yunsok was Division President for Mastercard in Japan, where he led all operations in this market, and Executive Vice President, Market Development, Asia Pacific, managing key merchant partnerships and acquisition and acceptance initiatives across the region.

Before joining Mastercard, Yunsok was an investment banker with Lehman Brothers and a strategic management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Seoul, Hong Kong, and London.

Yunsok holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Seoul National University and a MBA from Harvard University.
