Update regarding Mastercard’s Chief Financial Officer

April 10, 2025 | Purchase, NY

Mastercard announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Sachin Mehra, has successfully completed his treatment for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and is in remission. He returned to the office earlier this month, having worked remotely during the treatment period.

The following message was shared with Mastercard employees earlier today.

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you that I have successfully completed my treatment for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma that I commenced last September and that I am in remission. I want to express my gratitude for the incredible support and well wishes I’ve received over the past six months. Whether it was through notes or calls, you have been a constant source of strength, and I’m especially grateful of how this team continued to drive the business forward.

Being back in the office for a few days — and having people stop by — has been a pleasant reminder of how fortunate I am to be part of such a dedicated and resilient team.

There’s a special feeling of being in the office that I’ve missed — it’s the strength and connection we have as a team. Just as I leaned on resilience, patience, and persistence throughout my recovery, I see those same qualities reflected in how we execute our strategy every day.

Thank you again for all your support. I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Sachin
