Ling Hai
President, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa

     

Ling Hai is President for Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa at Mastercard.  In his current role, he is responsible for advancing the company's business strategy, sales, business development, product management and engagements with customers and regulators.  Ling Hai sits on the company’s Executive Leadership Team as well as its global Management Committee.  

Ling Hai joined Mastercard in 2010 and during his tenure, he has served as Division President of Greater China, President of Enterprise Partnerships in London, and as Co-President of Mastercard’s Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore.  Most recently, he was Co-President of International Markets. 

Ling Hai started his career as a management consultant and worked for both Booz Allen Hamilton and A.T. Kearney.  He also held executive roles with Bank of America and HSBC. 

Ling Hai has built a track record of serving on both corporate and non-profit boards as well as board committees.  He is Chairman of Wan Shi Wang Lian Network Technology, director of the Board of Cuscal Limited in Sydney and serves on the Board’s Risk Committee.  He also serves as a director of the National Committee on US-China Relations and as a senior advisory board member of CDIB Capital International in Hong Kong. 

Ling Hai graduated from the College of Saint Rose in New York and obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
