Mohamed Abdelsadek
Executive Vice President, Business & Market Insights

     

Mohamed Abdelsadek is executive vice president of business & market insights and a member of the Company’s management committee. He leads a global team focused on developing services and platforms that help customers use data and insights to make better decisions. He also leads Mastercard’s global payment consulting business.

Prior to this role, Mohamed held multiple positions at Mastercard including executive vice president overseeing North America services activities and executive vice president of global strategy, corporate development and M&A.

Before Mastercard, Mohamed was at Synchrony Financial/GE Capital where he led global strategy, payment innovation and ran several card portfolios.  He also worked at McKinsey & Company, advising financial services companies in the New York, Zurich and Dubai offices.

Mohamed has a Bachelor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from SUNY at Stony Brook, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
