Executive Vice President, Global Credit Product Lead
Cheryl Guerin is executive vice president of Credit Products with responsibility for all aspects of product strategy and development in consumer credit globally. Ms. Guerin is focused on driving preference and loyalty for credit products, as well as working closely with issuers to develop new credit solutions to support consumer segment needs.
Prior to this role, Ms. Guerin ran Products and Marketing for North America where she launched the Mastercard digital wallet, Masterpass, with issuers across the region, as well as a new high net worth segment product, Enhanced World Elite. She also ran US Marketing where she focused on delivering strategies and programs to drive greater preference for the Mastercard brand and products across B2B and B2C audiences. This included directing the brand’s award-winning “Priceless” advertising campaign, sponsorships, digital and partner marketing activity to drive greater connection with consumers.
Ms. Guerin joined Mastercard in 2000 and has held positions in Global Promotions and Global Digital Marketing, with a heavy focus on cross-functional integration, issuer value and merchant support. Key achievements include setting best practices and building organizations around these disciplines globally, as well as continued industry accolades.
