Senior Vice President, Push Payments, New Payments Platforms


Shari Krikorian is Senior Vice President, Push Payments, New Payments Platforms. She is responsible for the product strategy and commercialization of Mastercard Send, a new frontier in faster, better Push Payments. Mastercard Send facilitates the secure delivery of funds between senders and receivers, typically within seconds. Through a single connection to Mastercard Send, businesses, merchants, governments, humanitarian organizations, financial institutions and others can send money to consumers and small businesses domestically and cross border. Ms. Krikorian and her team are focused on launching Push Payments globally and developing new business models to drive differentiation and accelerate growth of real-time Push Payments.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Krikorian was Vice President, Personal Payments, where she co-created Mastercard’s Push Payments strategy focusing on new payment flows that total approximately $90T in volume annually. In this role, Ms. Krikorian was responsible for the development and expansion of the Business-to-Consumer and Government-to-Consumer Disbursements, Domestic Person-to-Person payments and Bill Payments lines of businesses.

Previously, Ms. Krikorian was responsible for Mastercard’s Business-to-Business (B2B) non-card payments strategy where she created a wide variety of new products in MasterCard’s Commercial organization. She also held a role in Franchise Management where she managed the rules and standards governing the use of the MasterCard family of brands.

Ms. Krikorian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, summa cum laude, from Fordham University and an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School, where she won the prestigious Amena Elliot Webster Memorial Award in Marketing. She is also a classically trained singer and musician.
