Sandeep Agarwal
Chief Financial Officer, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa

Sandeep Agarwal currently serves as Chief Financial Officer, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, Mastercard. He is responsible for all financial functions in the Region, including Corporate Planning, Financial Analysis, New Markets and Investments, Accounting, Controls and Regional Finance.

Prior to this role, Sandeep was Division Finance Officer for Middle East and North Africa Division and before that he was the financial planning and analysis head for the Middle East and Africa Region.

Before joining Mastercard, Sandeep was at Barclays UAE as their Financial Planning and Analysis Head, where he drove optimization projects across the bank to reduce the cost base significantly and asset optimisation projects resulting in redeployment of capital towards higher yielding portfolios. Sandeep also headed financial planning and analysis within the retail segment at Citibank India.

Sandeep is a chartered accountant and holds a degree in finance and accounting.
