Thibaut Grégoire
General Counsel,  Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa

Thibaut Grégoire is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Eastern Europe, MIddle East and Africa at Mastercard. In this role, he is responsible for managing legal, regulatory, compliance, public policy, and franchise support across international markets. Additionally, he works closely with senior governmental stakeholders on industry-wide subjects, leads international commercial transactions, oversees antitrust and regulatory matters, and handles settlement negotiations.

Since joining Mastercard in 2007, Thibaut has held several key roles, including General Counsel for Europe, the LAC region, and EEMEA. In 2021, he expanded his responsibilities to serve as General Counsel for Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Before joining Mastercard, Thibaut worked as an attorney-at-law and was a member of the bar of Brussels.

He holds a law degree from the University of Louvain (UCL) and a Master's in Business Law from the University of Brussels (ULB).
