Mastercard Appoints Silvana Hernández to Lead the North Latin America Division
June 2, 2026 | MIAMIMastercard today announced the appointment of Silvana Hernández as President of its North Latin America Division, effective June 1, 2026. In this role, she will report to Andrea Scerch, President of Mastercard Latin America and the Caribbean. Kiki Del Valle, who led the division for more than two years, will take on new responsibilities leading Acceptance for Mastercard in North America.

With more than 15 years at Mastercard, Silvana has held a variety of regional and global leadership roles across product strategy, innovation, and acceptance. Prior to assuming this position, she served as EVP, Core Payments for Latin America. As Division President, she will lead Mastercard’s strategic priorities across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
