Demi Moore will open tomorrow the “Life Through a Different Lens: Contactless Connections” series, a digital event organized by Mastercard in collaboration with La Biennale di Venezia, to celebrate the 77th Venice International Film Festival.

Mastercard, proud supporter of cinematic magic, new talent, different perspectives and new adventures - invites cinema lovers, students and enthusiasts to join an exclusive occasion to discover how stories told by great filmmakers can create an impact that lasts far beyond the film itself.

Demi Moore has proven herself to be one of the industry's most accomplished performers, lending her talents to an array of revered films and television both in front of and behind the camera.

The actress was recently seen in NBCUniversal’s Brave New World. Prior to that, Moore was seen in Patrick Brice’s Corporate Animals, as well as Sony’s Rough Night. She recently leant her voice to QCode’s newest podcast Dirty Diana and will next be seen in STX’s thriller Songbird.

Moore’s acting career took off in the late 1980’s when she starred in St. Elmo’s Fire. She then went on to star in such iconic films as A Few Good Men, Ghost, Indecent Proposal, Disclosure, and G.I. Jane. On the small screen, she earned a Golden Globe Award nomination for If These Walls Could Talk. Moore has starred in such films as Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Bobby, Flawless Happy Tears, and The Joneses. She followed those with the 2011 financial thriller, Margin Call, which received the Robert Altman Independent Spirit Award for Best Ensemble Cast, and Another Happy Day, Moore directed the acclaimed Lifetime original movie Five, an anthology of five short films exploring the impact of breast cancer on people’s lives.

Moore also adds New York Times Best Seller to her list of credits with her memoir Inside Out, released on September 24, 2019 by HarperCollins.

Moore is a co-founder of Thorn, a non-profit building technology to defend children from sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking.

The “Life Through a Different Lens: Contactless Connections” Conversation Series is an opportunity to bring young people closer to cinema and creative experiences. In this exclusive series of events, we will explore the role of the director, actor, cinematographer and all those in the film world, in building the stories that not only help us see life through a different lens but connect us to new worlds, changed worlds and different worlds, filled with priceless possibilities.

Demi Moore will join extraordinary talents like Penélope Cruz, Gia Coppola, Wim Wenders and Luca Guadagnino who will share their thoughts on how great cinema can drive different perspectives, trigger myriad emotions and influence our lives from the moment the film begins.
